In addition, if you buy or lease a GM vehicle form this Participating Dealer, the Participating Dealer may share information about your vehicle purchase (such as vehicle identification number (VIN), make, model, model year, date of purchase or lease and service history) with GM as the vehicle manufacturer in accordance with this dealership's privacy statement provided below. Our dealership takes your privacy seriously and is committed to safeguarding your privacy online. Because we do gather certain types of information from visitors to our sites, we have developed a privacy statement to help you understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. Any information you provide to us (i.e. name, e-mail address, etc.) when you enroll in one of our E-Mail Reminder Services, request information, or use any of the other interactive portions of our Web sites, is securely maintained on our Web server and internal systems. This information may be used to provide you with information you've requested about our company, our products and our services, or to provide you with special notices. You may opt out of receiving future communications at any time (see opt-out Procedures below). This data may also be used to tailor your experience on our sites by providing content that is relevant to your interests and geographic region.

Information Collected from Other Sources:

To help us better understand and respond to your needs and interests, we may in the future receive information about you from other sources. We will ask any provider of such information to represent and warrant that the information has been gathered and maintained in accordance with all state and federal laws. Any such information will be maintained by us in accordance with the standards set forth in this privacy policy along with other personal information you've provided.

Disclosure of Personal Information:

Our dealership understands the importance of your privacy. We collect and maintain the personal information of our consumers for our use and our subsidiaries. We do not sell, rent, or trade consumer information to third parties, other than as described below, and never without your consent. Third parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this website.

Business Partners:

Our dealership may partner with select retailers and other companies at various times to provide expanded services to our site visitors. As part of such a relationship, we may share with these companies the use of certain interactive Web site functions (i.e. the E-Mail Reminder Service). Information provided by site visitors through the use of such interactive functions may be available to both our dealership and our partners.

Agents:

Our Web sites contain links to other sites. Our dealership is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites. To help ensure the protection of your privacy, we recommend that you review the privacy policy of any site you visit via a link from one of our Web sites.

Passwords:

The personal data record created through your registration with our Web site can only be accessed with the unique password associated with that record. To protect the integrity of the information contained in this record, you should not disclose or otherwise reveal your password to third parties.

Public Forums:

Our Web sites may make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups available to its users at various times. Please remember that, unless otherwise stated, any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information in these areas.

Opt-out Procedures:

You may always opt-out of receiving future communications from our dealership. Our sites allow users to opt-out of receiving such communications at the point where personal information is requested, or through other means as identified.

Browser-Based Do Not Track:

Some browsers incorporate a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that, when turned on, signals to websites and online services that you do not want to be tracked.  Because there is not yet an accepted standard for how to respond to a DNT signal, we do not currently respond to DNT signals on this website or on websites where we provide advertisements, content, or other services.

Text Message (SMS) Program

Vera Automotive, Inc offers a text message program for shoppers who have visited our website and have asked to hear from us by text. Messages include updates about vehicles you viewed on our website, offers from our dealership, and replies from our team to questions you text us. Every message we send in this program identifies Vera Buick GMC.

How you join. Consent is a two-step process and is never automatic. You may ask to join by entering your mobile number on our text message sign-up page - published on our own website and also linked from our emails - or by texting the keyword SAVE to our number. Either way, we then send one text asking you to reply YES. You are enrolled only after you reply YES from that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of any other service we provide.

We do not send marketing text messages to anyone who has not completed this two-step confirmation. Identifying a visitor to our website does not, by itself, enroll that person in this program.

Message frequency. We will not send you more than 4 marketing text messages in any 30-day period. Replies to messages you send us, and the confirmation and help messages described here, are not marketing messages and are not counted.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Standard charges from your mobile carrier may apply to messages sent and received.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message at any time and you will be removed from the program immediately. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also stop messages. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further marketing messages after it; we will still answer HELP if you ask.

How to get help. Reply HELP or INFO to any message and you will receive a message identifying Vera Buick GMC and how to reach us, or call us at +1 (888) 449-5561.

Mobile information. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf and under our instruction solely to operate this program, such as our marketing agent and the messaging carrier that delivers the message; those providers are prohibited from using it for any other purpose. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for marketing purposes.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Automated and AI-Assisted Communications

We may contact you using automated technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) agents, by email, text message (SMS), WhatsApp, phone call, or other communication channels regarding your account, services, transactions, support requests, appointments, or related offers. Some communications may be generated, delivered, or conducted by AI-powered systems acting on behalf of our business. Your consent preferences are managed separately for each communication channel. You may opt out of email, SMS, WhatsApp, or phone communications at any time using the opt-out methods provided for that channel. Opting out of one channel does not automatically opt you out of communications through other channels. If you would like to stop all communications across every channel, please contact us directly using the information provided below. If you re-engage with us after opting out of a channel, such as by replying START to a text message or otherwise requesting further communication, we may treat that action as renewed consent to communicate with you through that channel, where permitted by applicable law.

Website Visitors and Visitor Identification

Our marketing program records information about your visit to our website: the pages and vehicles you view, the time and duration of your visit, your approximate location, your device and browser, and the source that brought you to us.

We use an identity resolution provider to associate some website visits with a household or contact record, including a postal address and, where available, an email address, together with general household characteristics such as age range, homeownership and income range. We do this so that we can follow up about the vehicles you looked at and send you offers from our dealership. These records are held on our behalf by our marketing agent, with the identifying details stored encrypted, and are used only for our own marketing. They are retained for as long as we work with that agent, or until you ask us to delete them.

We do not sell these records, and we do not provide them to other dealerships or to any third party or affiliate for that party's own marketing.

Advertising Measurement

Our advertisements carry tracking parameters in their web addresses, and the advertising platforms we use add their own click identifiers. When you arrive from one of our advertisements we record which advertisement, campaign and keyword brought you, so that we can measure which advertising works. This information is used for our own measurement and is not sold.

Your Choices and How to Reach Us

To stop text messages, reply STOP to any text. To stop marketing email, use the unsubscribe link in any email. To stop all communications from us across every channel, to ask what information our marketing program holds about you, or to ask us to delete it, contact us using the details below. We apply a stop request across email and text. A deletion request removes the visitor identification records described above, the text messages exchanged with our program and your enrollment record, and removes your name and contact details from our program's contact record; we keep only what is needed to make sure we do not contact you again.
